I'm reading this as a textbook for college, and it's easily my favorite book i've been assigned in a few years. The language is very easy to understand, and I'm learning so much about evaluation. The reading is very easy without being too fluffy, and it has a great balance between presenting theory and very actionable steps. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in learning about evaluation.

I had to get this book for a class. The only time I actually used it was when I was forced to reference it in a discussion once or twice. There are books that cover the same material clearly and more thoroughly than this- it is a pain to read and understand the simple concepts covered due to the poor composition of this text.

I took Hallie Preskill's class on Evaluation and she was excellent. This is an excellent book.

For those interested in program evaluations this is a must have.

This book was originally a requirement for my course, but as I used it, I found it was well organized and very helpful for program evaluation.

This book is the text for a required course. I find myself reading it and referring to it more often than textbooks for other classes. Easy reading and, to my surprise, it holds my interest.
